New Mom Bloggers everywhere are asking "where's the money?". Blogging isn't the quickest way to a million dollar daily spend. That said, you can still make a few bucks. This post was written for the curious (and busy) mom blogger. Inside you'll read about ways to earn money and products from blogging. There are a few non-blogging bits too. Enjoy.
We'll start off by looking at non-blogging ways to make a few bucks or get some neat-o things you've wanted for a while.
Surveys
There are plenty of survey sites available that promise money for taking surveys. Tread carefully here, not all survey sites are created equally. Sites that only offer a sweepstakes entry for every survey probably isn't worth your time - I don't waste my time with those. I take a lot of surveys each month. I've been doing this for 6 or 7 years now (maybe longer!).
I'm a long time member of My Survey. In fact, I've been a member since before they went online! This site offers points for taking surveys. Surveys are typically 10 points each. Starting at 1000 points you can trade in your points for cash or merchandise. Occasionally you'll receive full sized products to complete surveys. The last thing we tried was a 10 lb bag of science diet dog food for our dog. Doggie was pretty excited about this one! She waited by the box wagging her tail until we opened it. Great fun! This is my favorite survey site.

E-Rewards offers no cash exchange for points here but they do have a huge selection of magazines and Blockbuster coupons and freebies. Using my points here I subscribed to Family Fun magazine for the first time. E-Rewards seems to offer more surveys to me than My Survey and I can rack up the rewards a lot faster. E-Rewards surveys are viewable on your mobile device too so you can take surveys while you wait in or at the doctor's office... The only drawback is no points-for-money exchange. Still, a great survey site. I've really enjoyed being a member here.
Zoom Panel is another points for prizes survey site. I've been a member here almost as long as with MySurvey. They have a nice selection of prizes available at all point levels. Points take a while to save up but they send plenty of survey opportunities. Request your invite using my handy sign up form.
MyPoints.com - This site offers a lot of ways to save up points to exchange for gift cards. Still no cash option but just as good when you get a Target or Walmart gift card! Huge selection of gift cards to choose from. Points are harder to earn unless you shop using store links. Expect Bonus Mail emails daily. These are ads where you can earn 5 points at a time just for clicking a link or more points for taking advantage of the offer. This site is ok but not my favorite.
Final note on survey sites: Expect to fill out a few extensive surveys about you and your family's preferences when you join these programs. Worry not, these companies do a great job of keeping your information private and your surveys targeted to your interests.
